Cabinet for my French shop

I recently made this little cabinet for the entry of my French shop. Not so convinced about it, now that I see it in the photo. Maybe with handles and a few accessories, it will look better. Maybe it could do with a thicker top? Also, I don't think the chair will stay (it is actually borrowed from Little Red's tearoom - I am sure she will want it back soon!).

I think the cabinet looks great, and with handles and assesoires it will look even better! Mabe the chair is to big, mabe a little stool? I don't know if this is the wright word?

I think you're right about the top, it's not thick enough. If you continue not to like it I'd be interested in negotiating a swap of some kind for it :) I think it could be perfect in my French bathroom :)

Your cabinet is adorable. Perhaps a relief type decoration on the backsplash would be a nice addition. The coloring looks perfect.

I wouldn't change a thing about your cabinet! I love it. All it needs is some hardware and a few pieces sitting on it to show it off. :-) Well done!

I like this little cupboard you made very much, Shannon! To me it fits there perfectly in this room... and so nice tiles on the floor!

I love it Shannon! Hardware will finish it perfectly but if you are looking to change it, another color for the top by increase how thick it feels. Just lovely the way it is though! I can picture it accessorized and centered with an umbrella stand next to it for your shop guests. :)

Great little piece ... and once again more of your wonderful distressing work. All it needs now is its hardware and a French enamel water jug with a bunch of lovely wild flowers dropping out of it. Norma you are too funny!
