Hello! Wow, I posted in July and now the year is almost over….. how???
I haven’t achieved an awful lot when it comes to minis, except I did make an entry for the Miniatures.com creating contest. No idea where it will live, but my mum would be happy for it to go to her house. Unfortunately her house has two very eneergetic and curious 18 month old dogs, one a border collie and the other a kelpie, and the kelpie Roxy MUST KNOW EVERYTHING!!!! Anyway, will work that out later.
So rather than describe it, I’ll post some photos as I am sure you will work out what is going on. Sorry the photos are not in order.
I Hope you all have a happy and safe Christmas, and if you don’t celebrate at this time, I wish you a healthy, safe and fun year end. May 2022 be kinder than this year has been. Take care. Xxx
Me han encantado tus fotos y me ha despertado una sonrisa todos los ratones y animalitos; geniales. Te deseo también unas felices Navidades y un próspero año nuevo.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosa Maria, Merry Christmas to you too! I hope 2022 is much better for everyone. And thank you for your kind comments! I am glad you enjoyed seeing it, as I enjoyed dreaming up those little creatures. Xx
DeleteWow Shannon! I am not sure "...haven't achieved and awful lot...' is correct - you have built a whole house!
ReplyDeleteIt is absolutely gorgeous. Best of luck with your entry.
Happy Christmas
Anna X
Thanks Anna, Merry Christmas to you too! I feel like a lot of my free time was spent doing other things this year and didn’t get much done on other minis. And there were things I intended making for this build but didn’t get to. Anyway, all’s good! It’s done now, best wishes for 2022! X
DeleteShannon it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Thanks Sheila! Merry Christmas to you and your family and best wishes for a better 2022. X
DeleteHi Shannon! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYour scenes are utterly charming! Those little toys are off on a lark? I hope the new pups don't get carried away... or carry away the tiny critters! :)
Hi Betsy. Thanks for your kind comments. Yes they toys are racing down the stairs to shoo away the naughty animals. Or perhaps to get a share of the feast? And the pups don’t get to go near things like minis - things must be carefully tucked up away from curious pups! Take care and Merry Christmas!
DeleteIt is so precious Shannon, it makes me smile. I think you accomplished a lot this year. Good luck to you, and Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie. Thank you! I posted in another comment response that this year I seemed to spent a lot of my spare time doing other things, rather than minis, so feels like I got less done than other years. And some extra things were intended for the contest entry but I didn’t have the time or motivation. Anyway I am glad to hear it made you smile. Take care and merry Christmas! X
DeleteI know exactly what you mean, Shannon. This past year seems to have brought forward so many things that intrude on my mini time. I hope to do better in 2022. Having said that - I love what you have accomplished. Your contest entry is beautiful and full of so many lovely touches. I think you accomplished a lot! - Marilyn D.
ReplyDeleteHi Marilyn. The last couple of years we’ve all just had to roll with the punches and 2022 is shaping up in a similar way. Anyway, i hope you get more mini time next year too, and thanks for your kind comments. It was fun to make (mostly!). Take care. Xx
DeleteSuper blog
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to be so late, Shannon, but I could not read this post and not say how much I love this amazing idea and the style and mood you have given to it! Totally enchanting, and I wish you the best of luck in the contest!
ReplyDeleteHi Jodi! Thank you for your lovely comments. I am pretty happy with it, but I guess there are always things we would do a little differently if there was more time. But it’s good to have the pressure of a deadline because then you have to finish! And overall it does have the style and mood I was hoping for. And yes, fingers crossed!
