Not sure about my yellow base tile. I would've used dark green but you can't get matching ones. So I thought I'd try yellow.
Sorry for the dark and dull photos. Afternoon light.
Hi, welcome to my blog! I have been inspired to start my own blog to showcase some stuff that I am doing, but also to show the work of others that inspire me. It will be mostly dollhouse miniatures, but other stuff as well that I come across along the way! Hope you enjoy it!
El aspecto de los azulejos me gusta como queda, efectivamente el papel de la pared es corto, pero puede quedar muy bien pintado o poniendo más grandes si es que tienes suficiente, cualquiera de las dos opciones quedará bien!!
ReplyDeleteBesos.
Thanks Pilar, glad you like! Yes, I will wait and see how I go once the new whote tiles arrive. Xx
DeleteI really like the tile work. Especially with that dark border at the bottom. Very retro!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheila! I think the yellow will look even better once the other border tiles are on as they have yellow in them too!
DeleteTe está quedando genial:-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rosa Maria! I am happy with how it is going!
DeleteGreat work Shannon, Your vision for this bathroom was very distinct and you are bringing it to life .... and so quickly! It looks great.
ReplyDeleteRegards Janine
Thanks Janine! The tiles are on sheets, so they go up pretty quickly, and I am basically just doing the same pattern as the original bathroom. I like it too!
DeleteHappy Australia Day to you too! (I am just celebrating it on the other side of the world.)
ReplyDeleteThe tiles have really transformed this room into a bathroom. I think it is looking good.
Is it cold Sam? And yes, the tiles are great, but they look pretty ordinary with the floral wallpaper! Haha!
DeleteHi Shannon, Janine again. We did celebrate Australia Day.
ReplyDeleteWe always look forward to receiving emails, pictures and short videos from siblings, cousins and friends showing us how they are celebrating. Of course they know we are suffering here from short dark wet cold days so most photos include outdoor dining and activities.
They are mostly in Queensland so suffering somewhat from the heat.
Glad to hear that everyone enjoyed a day off for Australia Day. Heading down for a couple of weeks next week.
Regards Janine
I hope looking at sunny family photos doesn't make you too homesick. Especially when it is cold and dark in Canada. Queensland can be pretty hot and humid, but I'd prefer that to the cold (I don't deal well with anything under 20 deg C). Enjoy your break over here, I am sure it will be a welcome change from the cold! Xx
DeleteI really like the yellow. It makes it much more interesting and the combination of colors reminds me of spring!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodi! I also like the yellow and it matches the kitchen and laundry, which are just below the bathroom.
DeleteThe More you do to your bathroom reno Shannon, the MORE I like it! :D

Thanks Elizabeth! Got some work to do getting the arch neat, especially with the wallpapering of it, but I will cross that bridge later....
DeleteTe está quedando muy bien, Shannon. Un beso
ReplyDeleteThanks Maria! I don't want to stop decorating but I have to wait for the white tiles. Otherwise I would have it finished now. Xx
DeleteShannon, I do like that yellow border -- but you might need to put in some more repeats of that colour (the bath mat is a good start).
ReplyDeleteHi Shannon,
ReplyDeleteI'm working on North Pole house. I came across your green and yellow bathroom and wondered what you use for tile?

Can’t quite recall what the floor tiles were, but think they are the same brand. Hope this helps!
